Brian Loehr joined Leo Burnett in 2011 and is a VP Director of Design. He has played an integral role in the growth and development of the agency’s Department of Design. Brian has been a multi-disciplinary designer for over 13 years. He previously was a Design Director at VSA Partners in Chicago where he worked on global brands such as IBM and Motorola. Brian was also a Senior Art Director for Target Corporation. Earlier in his career, he was the principal designer and founder of a small design studio in Minneapolis.
At Leo Burnett, Brian has been able to push the boundaries of design with global brands such as McDonalds, Pfizer, P&G, Samsung, Intel, and Purina. In 2012 he worked on the Allstate Save11, a grassroots initiative to foster legislative support for a bill co-authored by Allstate that helps reduce teen deaths from auto accidents in the United States. That bill was signed into law by President Obama in 2012 and also received a Gold Cannes Lion. Brian's work has also received a D&AD in book nomination for his work on Allstate Mayhem specialty packaging.
Brian is the 2015 Centennial Chair on the AIGA Chicago board and is a two time North American Hockey Association Champion.
